Banter Ceilidh

Ceilidh/energetic barn dance with the amazing Banter band and caller Tim Walker Banter comprise Simon Care on melodeon and concertina, Nina Zella on keyboards & vocals, Tim Walker on drums, percussion, brass, guitar, bass & vocals and Mark Jolley on bass, fiddle, guitar & vocals. Banter are both steeped in English tradition yet uniquely cutting edge, weaving in influences from other musical genres  - these qualities have ensured that they feature at all the major folk festivals. Their infectious, rhythmical dance tunes will get you up and dancing and Tim Walker will be multi-tasking by acting as your caller for the evening!

This event is open to all ages and abilities - no previous experience required.

Please note there is no bar at this event so you will need to bring your own drinks. Water on tap.

Profits from this ceilidh will be donated to local charity Time is Precious (Charity Ref No 1141671) which aims to create a more comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for children and their families in hospital or at home.
