About us
Bath Ceilidhs are no ordinary barn dances! Buzzing with upbeat energy right from the start, the great bands we book give you a thrilling and amazing evening of exuberant dancing and fun, whatever your age or experience.

Bath Ceilidhs are non profit making. Any profits will be donated to charities of our choice or the bands' choice.

The music generally has its roots in British traditional music, but with contemporary, eclectic and sometimes cross-cultural bias. The bands we have booked are amongst the best in the country and have appeared at all the top festivals, travelling a considerable distance to play for you. Head to our events page to find out more about upcoming bands! Make sure to grab your tickets via the link on our events page - no tickets will be sold on the door!

Please note there is no bar at this event so you will need to bring your own drinks. Water on tap.

Dancing starts at 7:30pm, with doors open from 7pm.

We are now situated at Claverton Down Community Hall!
Claverton Down Community Hall is situated in the Claverton Down district of Bath about 1.25 miles east of the city centre at the junction of Claverton Down Road and Oakley. From the city, the continuation of the top of either Widcombe Hill or Bathwick Hill will lead you to this point.
From Combe Down, pass The Bath Clinic, Ralph Allen School and the top of Brassknocker Hill; on past the main entrance road to the University of Bath (Norwood Avenue), and the Hall is on the left at the next road junction, very near the 20mph sign.
There is plenty of parking within the grounds. The address is Claverton Down Rd, Bath, BA2 6DT.
Alternatively, there is a frequent bus service (to/from The University of Bath) which stops right outside. It is very easy to reach the hall on foot or bus from Bath Spa train station.
